10 Times Wrestlers Were Embarrassed On Live TV (That You Totally Forgot About)
3. Nia Jax Dominates Jon Moxley On His Way Out
Thinking back on Jon Moxley's last few months as part of Vince McMahon's company, you'd be forgiven for predominantly remembering the moments where WWE seemed to respectfully tip their cap to the star for all of the blood, sweat, and tears he put into his eight year spell within their walls.
But we're here to remind you that before The Shield's Final Chapter graced our screens, the then-Dean Ambrose was made to look like a complete and utter loser on the back of informing the company he planned on leaving at the end of his current deal.
Just 24 hours after the 2019 Royal Rumble event, Nia Jax made her way down to the ring after Ambrose's defeat at the hands of Seth Rollins on Raw. The future AEW World Champion was then subsequently sucker-punched and bullied by Jax and a feud between the pair was set to unfold over the coming weeks.
WWE reportedly opted against those plans in the end though as they didn't want their obvious burial of Ambrose to lead to him becoming a martyr upon departing. But the damage had already been done and fans were well and truly ready to embrace the second-coming of Moxley.
