10 Times Wrestlers Were HORRIBLE To Fans

4. MJF Throws The Drink

Ultimate Warrior
AEW

In his defence, the man does market himself as a scumbag and the devil...

Early into his Iron Man match with Bryan Danielson, MJF took a water break in the crowd. His honed heel instincts drew him to a mother and her young son. The mother was drinking a clear liquid that MJF presumed to be water, grabbed the plastic glass from her hand, and threw it over the kid's hooded top. Not his face, mercifully, since the drink was actually tequila.

It drew the sought-for reaction. It was a low thing to do - the sort of utterly needless, just-to-be-an-ar*ehole act with which he became one of the few 21st century heels capable of drawing earnest revulsion from the crowd.

The match was phenomenal, ending with a prestige drama-tier twist - the weapon with which MJF won was only introduced after the original time limit had expired and not a soul saw it coming - but the conversation was overtaken in the aftermath.

A lot of people - including AEW's Scorpio Sky - felt MJF had taken it much too far. This was a horrible act, to be sure, but AEW did right by the family, at least.
