When Scott Hall and Kevin Nash turned up in WCW in 1996, it was a very real 'invasion' to many loyal WCW fans. So, when these Outsiders propositioned at match against Team WCW at that year's Bash at the Beach PPV, the battle lines had well and truly been drawn.

Of course, that match would see Hall and Nash's mystery partner turn out to be Hulk Hogan, with the Hulkster soon becoming Hollywood as the New World Order was formed.

By that point, the white-hot heat generated by the heels of years prior had almost become a distant memory. And so, when Hogan turned heel and screwed over the heroic WCW figures of Sting, Lex Luger and Randy Savage, it was genuinely jaw-dropping to see the reaction the Ocean Center crowd gave to this burgeoning nWo trio.

This was a reaction the likes of which had not been seen for years, with boos, cups and even toilet roll raining down on Messrs Hogan, Hall and Nash, as the fans in attendance voiced their anger.

For one such fan, though, he got a tad carried away and dared to enter the ring to defend World Championship Wrestling - getting himself a beating from Nash and Hall.
