6. Finn Balor Had His Big Moment Stolen From Him By A Cackling Seth Rollins
Things were looking so promising for Finn Balor all the way back in 2016.
The recent NXT call-up had taken Monday Nights by storm and soon found himself battling over the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. However, right when 'The Demon King' was on the verge of greatness, a reckless 'Visionary' by the name of Seth Rollins suddenly went and stole what should have been a life-changing moment.
Balor did seemingly forgive in the years that followed 'The Architect' obliterating his shoulder and dreams with a barricade bomb, with the pair even teaming together at points. But 'The Prince' never forgot who was responsible for derailing a run that looked set to fire Finn to the very top.
And when Balor did finally decide to get revenge for the "momentum", title, and year Rollins took from him in June 2023, you couldn't really blame The Judgment Day man for targeting the flamboyant World Heavyweight Champion that tore apart his life then laughed in his face the very next night.
Admittedly, the healthier move would have likely been to just move on and chase the strap as a way of proving he still had what it took to be a world champ.
But it was difficult not to feel for Finn and even secretly support the bitter former Universal Champion after remembering just how much of a d*ck Rollins was to the poor bloke all those years ago.
