The sight of Karrion Kross stomping to the ring in a weird mask evoked fond memories of the artist formerly known as Albert. (Quick recap: Tensai used to work for WWE under the name "Albert" and WWE fans never let him forget it, as every Tensai match was serenaded by the audience chanting his former ring-name).

Fortunately, WWE haven't made the same mistake and pretended the man under Kross' crimson bondage gear is a completely different wrestler. He's still Karrion Kross, he's just taken to cosplaying as Shredder with a BDSM fetish.

Incidentally, if the idea behind Kross' new look really was to boost his merch sales then it's no wonder Vince McMahon holds his audience in contempt. Would you want to be friends with someone if you genuinely thought this was the kind of s**t they were into?
