10 Times WWE Attitude Era Went Too Far

It's fair to say that we have all had bosses that have asked us to do undesirable, sometimes even unpleasant tasks. That being said, most folks probably haven't had an employer who has told them to crawl around on all fours, bark like a dog, and strip on national television.

In a segment that hasn't aged well, Mr. McMahon humiliates Trish Stratus by asking her to partake in all the previously mentioned acts. McMahon is very convincing in the role (almost a little too convincing), and the bit succeeded in making Stratus a sympathetic character as intended.

That being said, simply forcing the Canadian superstar to emulate a dog would have likely had the same effect. Having her strip just made the segment a bit more uncomfortable to watch, then it needed to be.

Of course, the lesson here is that in the dog-eat-dog world of professional wrestling, a performer can't always be all bite and no bark...
