10 Times WWE Blew Their One Big Shot

5. There Is Still No Evolution 2

Let this entry one day be dated, and not just by the announcement and existence of the show but how well it performed thanks to the best women's roster in North American wrestling history.

WWE have missed several opportunities to run Evolution 2, including a particular spot just a week removed from a SummerSlam 2020 event that was pulled back to the Performance Center like everything else that's been impacted by the ongoing global b*stard. Cursed show Payback was given the green light there, though the sequel should have occurred long before then.

In November 2019, the company produced one of their legendary makegoods with an edition of SmackDown that rather neatly set up NXT's involvement in the brand warfare of the Survivor Series. Black-and-gold roster members dominated what remained of the blue brand crew because the rest of them were stranded in Saudi Arabia.

This - like every other scandal-ridden show in that part of the world - could have already been pre-booked as an Evolution special. The wait continues.
