Far too often does WWE book their Money in the Bank winners to look like losers. Their reasoning behind this is that they want their cash-ins to feel like more of a "surprise," but anyone with half a brain knows that's ridiculous.

At any rate, Ziggler was the rare exception to that trend. Immediately after winning the coveted blue briefcase at Money in the Bank 2012, he wasn't reduced to enhancement talent status but rather elevated to the upper-midcard and placed in a program with Chris Jericho.

Ziggler taunted Jericho going into SummerSlam that since returning to the ring, he had yet to win "the big one," which of course led to Y2J going over at the event. Still, Ziggler had a strong showing against the former WWE champion and the match was excellent, so he lost nothing in defeat.

The next night on Raw, they faced off in a rematch where Ziggler's Money in the Bank briefcase and Jeircho's job were on the line. Logically, this was done to write Jericho out of storylines for the foreseeable future, but him doing the honors gave Ziggler the chance to boast about ending the career of one of the greats.

Instead, it was business as usual for Ziggler the very next week, who went on to lose to Randy Orton at Night of Champions.
