2. A Champion You Can BeLIVe In

Taking further inspiration from her fellow high-profile Irish superstar Conor McGregor, Becky Lynch went full Mystic Mac a year or so ago when confessing to the Monday Night Raw live audience that if Liv Morgan would've bested Big Time Becks during her pursuit of the red women's strap, "you would find every reason to doubt the same woman that convinced you to believe in her.”

Sure enough, fast forward to 2022 and the long-time adored babyface is currently reigning as the SmackDown Women's Champion. And instead of being celebrated as a modern day People's Champion, Morgan has found herself being booed out of the building and serenaded by "You Tapped Out!" chants in the wake of defending her strap against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam 2022.

Obviously, the nature of Liv's dodgy "victory" over The Baddest Woman on the Planet didn't exactly help her cause. However, the sheer speed with which fans have opted to turn their backs on a star they had consistently gotten behind for some time is still rather shocking.

And it's something that has clearly caught some of Morgan's WWE colleagues by surprise too, with the likes of Rhea Ripley and Kayla Braxton branding said SmackDown fans as "fickle" and "disrespectful", respectively, in the aftermath.
