10 Times WWE Hurt Itself By Punishing Its Stars

9. Paige Drops The F-Bomb

At the beginning of September 2015, Paige participated in a live video Q&A on Facebook. The 'live' element obviously meant that there was no possibility of a retake or any censoring of the feed to the website, and when a fan told Paige to f*ck off, she responded by saying, "Hey, f*ck you right back."

She clearly recognised immediately that she'd goofed, asking if it could be bleeped out. Of course, that wasn't possible, and it was made pretty obvious that she'd messed up. Over the course of the next few weeks, Paige would pretty much lose to everyone. This came just weeks after her fantastic heel promo work had helped raise the esteem of a lacklustre programme with Charlotte.

She continued to lose to anyone and everyone, on television and on house shows. WWE had spited themselves in the short term by punishing Paige, but sadly it was the 'anti-Diva' who ultimately lost out. When she was sidelined with a concussion, the gradually improving women's division began to leave her - the person largely at the centre of it's 'Revolution' - behind. Injuries meant she'd never truly get to take part in the 'Evolution'.
