10 Times WWE Missed Out On Making Sheamus A Superstar

1. Not Cashing In Money In The Bank

Sheamus should've cashed in the Money In The Bank briefcase at the Money In The Bank PPV and defeated Dean Ambrose to win the WWE Championship to end the show. Sheamus needs a boost as a character? What about the idea of Sheamus being the champ who wrestled Brock Lesnar at Battleground, while Seth Rollins had to wrestle Dean Ambrose in a two-out-of-three falls rematch for the right to wrestle the WWE Champion at SummerSlam. Sheamus has been around long enough and is physically large enough to credibly beat up Brock Lesnar and appear to be a challenge to him without cars needing to be assaulted with axes or performers being needlessly injured in the process. Sheamus being installed into the toip tier mix as a great opponent for Dean Ambrose is something to consider, too. At present, he's a man with a briefcase who in not cashing it in on a physically smaller and weakened opponent on the night of Money in the Bank missed out on a superstar-making opportunity of a lifetime.
