10 Times WWE Ripped Off AEW

2. Blood And Guts

"We will not do blood and guts and things of that nature, such as what is being done on our new potential competitor. I can't speak for TNT, but I can't imagine they'd put up with it."

Vince McMahon, who has twice booked Brock Lesnar to scrape blood from skulls the hard way, speaking to investors in July 2019 to get himself out of a jam.

"Jam...jam...yes, that's it, I'll use fake blood!"

Already hypocritical, that statement has since been exposed to further ridicule by various angles WWE has ran subsequently. No, not emotionally draining blood-soaked masterpieces fought between brothers. Come on. It's WWE.

Dumb angles.

Shayna Baszler bit Becky Lynch's neck on the Road to WrestleMania, chewing through a rubber johnny to achieve the desired effect of a bloody mouth. She was a vampire, now, and it's been a long old f*cking stretch of daylight since May 11, because she's never been seen again. Seth Rollins left Rey Mysterio's blood on the steel steps after forcing his eyeball onto the edge, and that feud will culminate in the aforementioned Eye For An Eye match that Dave Meltzer has reported will take the form of a cinematic attraction complete with CGI effects.

"Yeah it's blood and guts, but come on guy, it looks as fake as absolute sh*t" isn't a good comeback, incidentally.
