10 Times WWE SmackDown Went Too Far

With the show just weeks away from WrestleMania XIX, there was a tremendous amount on the SmackDown agenda in early-2003. None of it, sadly, to do with women's wrestling.

On Raw, Trish Stratus, Victoria and Jazz were revving up for their 'Show Of Shows' showcase. On SmackDown, it was all about the Vince McMahon/Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle/Brock Lesnar headliners. Dawn could only get pay-per-view attention by trying out for a new hideous franchise known as Girls Gone wild.

For those too young or fortunately ignorant to remember GGW, it was various parades of young girls getting sh*tfaced and topless or coerced into both, sold via pay-per-view. Some co-promotion with WWE followed, dragging in already-lost cause Sean O'Haire and post-coitus Al Wilson widow Dawn Marie for this one-off moment of ridiculous T&A madness.

"Are you telling me I should flash the audience tonight?", she asked of the man that looked like he was in for a major push about three weeks earlier. "Dawn, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know", he replied, hitting the catchphrase that was already less over that it was three weeks ago. And so she did, because that really showed 'em! 'Em being Michael Cole and Tazz, who's view wasn't obscured expertly by the ring rope.
