10 Times WWE Superstars Fought With Fans

2. Something A Bit Different

We're forever seeing fans jumping the guardrail and getting involved in something they simply shouldn't be. However, while the majority of fans are swiftly dealt with by security, one unlucky WCW supporter had to answer to a far greater power. Two fans decided to take to the ring during a live Nitro broadcast in December 1997, and while one was dealt with by ring announcer David Penzer - who grabbed the fan's leg just as he slid into the ring - Randy Anderson was about to open a can of unexpected whoopass on the other. The ref - known as Pee Wee Anderson to fans of the new defunct brand - took it upon himself to apply some sort of hold on the fan's face and ultimately choke him out in front of the world. It's ever so slightly satisfying, isn't it? Fans think wrestling is fake and try to get into the ring to prove it. Fans get bossed by the ring announcer and chocked out by a referee. Fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj6QoYTSPhQ A similar incident occurred with fellow WCW referee Mark Curtis. What was Eric Bischoff feeding his officials during the Monday Night Wars? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LX3hnt3rFdY
