10 Times WWE Was Even Dumber Than WCW

3. Who Tried To Ki-Mildly Inconvenience Roman Reigns?

One of WWE's dumbest storylines ever started as it meant to go on.

Roman Reigns was interviewed backstage minutes before the show was due to go off air, which never happens. This was instant bullsh*t, and it went up all the way to the taps, brother. Reigns found himself trapped under a girder, which fell on top of him in circumstances that were framed as suspicious.

No sh*t: the assailant went to the trouble of fixing a camera to it, and Kevin Dunn both guessed, and located the camera on his system. He himself might have thought this suspicious, but this plot hole can be forgiven: when he saw it, he probably spied a chance to see one of the Women's roster bent over, lacing their boots up before a match.

Less forgivable was the fact that Roman Reigns was only mildly spooked by this. As a Big Dog, a solitary firework would have unsettled him more. The idea was to create an air of mystery, and an eerie tone, but this was rather undermined by the patently ridiculous staging, the incredibly absurd melodrama, and how contrived the whole mess was.
