10 Times WWE Wrestlers Played Several Characters At Once

3. Corporate Kane / Demon Kane

One of the greatest characters in the history of wrestling - and really one of its most versatile performers - Kane enjoyed over a one and a half decade long run near the top of WWE. One of the reasons for that was his willingness to adapt to different storylines and angles. Yes some of them were universally hated, but you can’t fault the man – or demon – for trying.

While the concept of pulling multiple characters at once can technically be applied to the majority of his WWE career, it was actually during the much maligned Corporate Kane run that this became very literal. The Director of Operations had been taken out by the World Champion Seth Rollins, as part of their building feud. Kane then made his return as the Big Red Monster and kicked off their program proper.

The real twist came the night after his return. As Seth wandered backstage looking for Triple H and Stephanie, he ran into the corporate version of Kane, who for his part seemed to have no recollection of what happened the previous night.

This started a Jekyll and Hyde storyline where Kane would be Corporate Kane at most times, before suddenly transforming into his demon persona at opportune moments to take out Rollins.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
