10 TNA Stars That Could Return To WWE

1. Kurt Angle

Since Angle has talked so openly about wanting to go back to WWE when his TNA deal is up in September it makes sense to put him in the top spot. It's been eight years since he was in WWE. There are a lot of concerns with him thanks to serious neck and knee injuries he's suffered over the years. At age 45 he's a major question mark although it seems like he's put his alcohol and pain killer addictions behind him, so that's an encouraging sign. It would be in his best interests to only work a part time schedule in WWE. Maybe wrestle on a monthly basis or only a handful of times per year with a big match taking place at a WrestleMania. He could retire soon, go into the Hall of Fame as one of the bigger names and then work behind the scenes in WWE. Angle has been one of the biggest names in TNA's history, but he sees the writing on the wall. That's why he's talked so openly about WWE whether it's on random radio interviews or recently with the likes of the great Jim Ross. He wants to go back for one more run whether it lasts a few months or a year. He should be welcome back with open arms, but like a lot of these TNA guys his age is a factor. Even if TNA manages to survive the rest of the year, Angle could be WWE bound. It will be very interesting to see what happens when he's free to go in a couple of months.
