5. Jeff Hardy

Just a couple of years ago, Jeff Hardy would have been able to make WWE a ton of money had he returned. These days all of his insane bumps seem to have finally caught up to him, and a run on Raw or SmackDown would likely be more of a Rob Van Dam type role, in which he’d probably only come in for a few months for a part-time gig.

Still, seeing him back in the company in any form would be an interesting turn. Jeff vs. Bray Wyatt could be a blast, or Jeff vs. Seth Rollins or Kevin Owens in dream-type matches would be exciting contests.

While those matches would have been better from an in-ring perspective a few years ago, from a character standpoint, right now they would be more intriguing.

Jeff still has a loyal fanbase behind him who would love to see one last WWE run, and then there’s a whole generation of fans out there who have never seen him in the company at all. He’s bound to go into their Hall of Fame someday, and he’d be sure to create a buzz and sell some merchandise right now if he were to return in any capacity. Let's make this happen.

As long as he could get the schedule he wants, and some sort of forum to express his ideas, he’d hopefully agree to some sort of return. Let's also hope that he brings his brother with him...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
