10 TNA Wrestlers Who Will Make The Biggest Impact In WWE

3. EC III

Ethan Carter was another guy in a long line of talent who was let go from WWE, despite showing quite a bit of potential. The company had no real plans for him, and let him toil away in NXT as Derrick Bateman before letting him go, so they could focus on other wrestlers like Michael McGillicutty and Jinder Mahal.

Surprisingly, TNA picked Bateman up and gifted him with a big push as Dixie Carter's nephew. While he could have flopped badly in the role, he excelled and soon established himself as one of the best the company had to offer.

As the re-branded EC III, he began a lengthy undefeated streak in TNA, and went over all of their biggest names. Despite the big push right out of the gate, few complained about it. He proved over the past couple of years that he can be a top heel or a babyface, and would certainly add a lot to Raw or SmackDown if brought on-board.

He could be a great opponent for John Cena or Randy Orton on SmackDown, or Seth Rollins on Kevin Owens on Raw. There's a lot of exciting possibilities.

Let’s just hope that if he signs with WWE he gets to keep the theme song.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
