10 Top Drawing WWE Stars In WrestleMania History

2. John Cena

Regardless of whether you like him or loathe him, you can't question John Cena's tremendous drawing power. It was at WrestleMania a decade ago that he solidified himself as a main event player when he won hist first WWE Championship, an event that grossed the third highest buy rate in WrestleMania history at 1,085,000 pay-per-view buys. Since then, Cena has closed out five WrestleManias and been in headlining matches at all the others with a record of 8-3. Granted, an argument can be made that the only reason Cena is as big of a draw as he is, is due to no one else on the current roster coming close to being on his level. Randy Orton, Triple H, and CM Punk have been big draws for the company over the last decade, but basically, there's Cena and then everyone else. Part of that can be contributed to his success at WrestleMania, as he has walked out of The Show of Shows with a world title in tow on six different occasions. Of the six highest grossing WrestleMania events of all-time, Cena was in a marquee match at each of them. At WrestleMania 28, he and The Rock popped the biggest buy rate in history with their main event match, a number that hasn't been surpassed since. Interestingly enough, Cena is nowhere near the main event slot this year, but he'll continue to be a major part of the spectacle for as long as he's on top.
