That Ivory was a trainer on the show Tough Enough is rather apt because that's just exactly what she was during her WWE career. After getting her start in the not exactly serious G.L.O.W promotion, Ivory worked on the independent circuit and impressed WWF officials. She inked a contract in 1999 and became an instant player in the women's division and won the Women's Championship. WWF divas at the time were more likely to be having pudding matches or bikini contests but Ivory, as a trained wrestled, began competing in competitive matches. She participated in the first ever women's hardcore with Tori, a match that spilled all over the backstage area and included several nasty-looking weapon shots. Ivory earned the respect of the boys by participating in serious matches and taking anything that was thrown at her. She could also dish out the punishment and had a mean right hand, as evidenced by the huge shiner she gave Lita at Survivor Series 2000.
