10 Trades WWE & AEW Need To Make In 2022

If the last few weeks of 2021 taught us anything it's that Sami Zayn will never be given the on-air respect or chances to break out of the comical box he's found himself in whilst part of Vince McMahon's empire he deserves. If anything, the fact he's so damn good at his side-splitting job as a conspiracy spouting heel has hammered the main event nail in his own coffin.

Seeing his Universal Championship shot go up in smoke thanks to some Brock Lesnar interference was just the latest reminder that any chances of a second coming of The Underdog from the Underground conquering the odds to win the big one are dead and buried.

Much like old pal KO, Zayn would no doubt find a new lease on life battling with his independent flames of the past in AEW, and we may even be treated to the long-awaited return of a certain masked sensation too. But more importantly, Zayn would be handled like the all-out world class wrestler his contemporaries know him to be. And in all honestly, WWE won't likely know what they had on their hands with the star for all occasions until he's gone.
