In another instance of what appears to be a move that will very much go down sooner rather than later by all accounts, Kevin Owens kissing goodbye to his current on-air last name is virtually a guarantee come 2022, right?

You have to hand it to WWE, though, they're certainly throwing their all into enticing the former Universal Champion to think twice about allowing his contract to expire come January 31. A main event push on Raw has concluded a 2021 that started out with the often under-utilised master of all trades battling The Tribal Chief, only to get lost in the shuffle for the remainder of the calendar.

And though Owens is likely weighing up the benefits that still come with being a part of this WWE sphere, it's no secret the dude is a massive family man and wouldn't want to risk not being able to bring home the bacon, the chance to do that and be creatively fulfilled as part of the All Elite team (all under his former Steen moniker) has to be too tantalising to resist. Unless WWE pulls a blinder and straps him at Day 1, mind...
