10 Trades WWE & AEW Need To Make In 2023

9. Ricochet To AEW

Some workers just seem to fit other companies better than the one they're in. Ricochet is a prime example of that these days, because his high-flying skillset just screams AEW more than it does WWE - the E may never fully embrace that style for anybody not-named Rey Mysterio, to be honest.

That's why Rico should be looking sideways towards All Elite.

Think of the matches Ricochet could have with guys like Darby Allin, Dante Martin, Bryan Danielson and more. Christ, seeing him try to run rings round a technical wizard like Danielson would be worth the price of admission for any AEW pay-per-view alone. Oh yes, Rico in Tony Khan's world would be bags of fun.

Sadly, he'll always exist at a certain level in WWE anyway. The ship has likely sailed on any hopes of a main event push there, and Triple H has yet to prove that he's willing to cast Ricochet as more than a bit-part player.

AEW beckons, you glorious throwback to the Cruiserweight glory days.
