10 Trades WWE & AEW Need To Make In 2023

6. Malakai Black To WWE

The rumour mill figured this might've happened by now, but Malakai himself moved to quieten reports he was WWE-bound or unhappy in AEW. Plus, vignettes have started popping up on Dynamite and Rampage teasing the House Of Black leader's imminent return to programming.

Fair enough, but Malakai surely wonders what would be possible under old NXT 'dad' Triple H in WWE now that Vinnie Mac has retired. As Aleister Black, the borderline satanic strike artist raced to the top of WWE's third brand before finding life on the main roster a little bit less creatively-satisfying under Vince.

Wrestling fans and Malakai deserve to find out what might've been, and the Aleister character deserves another shot on Raw or SmackDown. What's the alternative? That he continues getting lost in the shuffle and shoved into random six-man tags on AEW telly?

That doesn't sound too great, and so a change of scenery could benefit all parties.
