10 Tweaks Which Could Save WWE's Worst Current Characters

9. Akira Tozawa - Put Him In A Faction

Akira Tozawa is a Japanese WWE superstar who, like other Japanese WWE superstars, is being wasted by a company that has never done any of them justice. From Jinsei Shinzaki (Hakushi) to KENTA (Hideo Itami) to Shinsuke Nakamura, WWE is clueless on how to book Japanese wrestlers. And, sure enough, Tozawa’s comedy treatment is growing old and is insulting.

It’s time for a change before it is too late to salvage Tozawa’s WWE career. He is a talented cruiserweight who may benefit from the same remedy that is helping cure another cruiserweight who was struggling to make a name for himself.

WWE should put Tozawa in a faction because it’s working for Cedric Alexander. After joining the Hurt Business, Alexander became relevant again. Joining the likes of Cesaro and Nakamura to form a trio on SmackDown or remaining on Raw to join RETRIBUTION could help put Tozawa on the fast track.
