Another Pioneers Era, UFC Hall-of-Famer makes our list here, with 3-time Heavyweight and 2-time Light Heavyweight champion, Randy Couture giving one more example of what it takes to be the best.

Kicking was something Gabriel Gonzaga was enjoying in 2007 , you could say, coming into his fight with Couture. Gonzaga had recently took out Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic with his own signature high kick but it was his reputation as a jiu-jitsu world champion that had people second guessing themselves. With his new found love of kicking your head off, it made him an unpredictable prospect.

The latter bout had earned Gonzaga a title shot at UFC 74 against Couture and one of those brutal leg strikes found their mark, breaking Couture's forearm in this midst of the action. Couture sensed he needed to ground his opponent quickly and used his Greco-Roman wrestling coupled with some good old-fashioned ground and pound to force a TKO through undisputed dominance.

Couture wrestled a 110kg man to the ground and then bombarded him with fist-bombs, using one good arm. What did you do today?
