10 UFC Fights That Happened Outside Of The Octagon

There's a bit of a theme here already.

As you may have guessed by now, most of these brawls outside the octagon have come to pass between two individuals entangled in what can only be described as a 'blood-feud'. Jon Jones Vs Daniel Cormier falls comfortably into that category.

In the build up to their originally scheduled first clash at UFC 178, shots were physically fired from both camps as Jones would press his head up against Cormier's in a press conference, only for the latter to thrust the former back by his throat. A chaotic melee ensued and sets were destroyed, with Cormier even throwing his shoe at Jones.

This opened the floodgates for a barrage of verbal assaults from the two fighters. Jones claimed he would 'kill' Cormier, with DC daring the 'fake' Jones to 'try that, Jon'.

With two bouts already in the books and enough drug test controversy to whet the appetites of MMA fans around the world, a third and final blow-off battle has been in demand years.

These two look destined to be at odds indefinitely and that initial scuffle, all those years ago, set this rivalry for the ages in motion.
