10 UFC Prodigies Who Didn't Live Up To The Billing

7. Uriah Hall

The Ultimate Fighter is a show designed to create the next generation of stars to carry the torch for Dana White's baby going forward. So it is to be expected that if you win the thing - or even just make it to the final - UFC will have big plans for you in the future.

Uriah Hall seemed to be no different. Bullying the rest of the contenders with a series of brutal knockouts - even breaking Bubba McDaniel's face in three places in the quarter final - the 28 year old burst onto the scene in a big way and already looked to be a legitimate star.

Kelvin Gastelum awaited Hall in the final and instead of the obvious stand-out of the show destroying Gastelum, he was on the receiving end of a 15 minute session of his own medicine eating.

Hall would then follow this shock defeat up with fourteen fights and a mixed bag record of 8-6 after his TUF breakthrough. Any time he looked to be gathering the momentum necessary to get himself into World Title contendership, he faltered and produced a lacklustre performance to stifle his rampage.

It's not too late for Hall, but so far he has not lived up to his billing as TUF's next breakout prodigy.
