Outspoken UFC Welterweight contender Colby Covington has verbally jousted with seemingly every fighter on the UFC roster. One man who he has had particularly harsh words for is reigning light heavyweight champ, Jon Jones, who Covington referred to as a 'cokehead.'
On his podcast, Rogan chimed in on the verbal feud and suggested the welterweight standout should refrain from making such remarks. The UFC commentator would go on to say, 'Jon Jones is going to be in front of you one day. "You’ve got to be careful, watch your f*****ing words. You’re going to get slapped in the face by a guy who can kill you with his hands. That’s a bad move."
Of Course, Covington took exception to Rogan's remarks. The former interim titleholder fired back, proclaiming, "You’ve never been in an Octagon, you don’t have any experience fighting. He thinks he has a say in everything, and he’s a biased announcer as it is." He also implied that he would confront Rogan at UFC 225, but nothing ever came of it.
