How has this one not happened already? DC is the biggest WWE fan currently employed by big bad Dana. The dude turned up to Wrestlemania 31, not to push for an angle, but to mark out when Rollins cashed in his briefcase. He loves it. Oh and he's a double Champ and stellar commentator, too, which is a plus. With that FOX move coming this move seems to be all but certain and it's now more of a question of when.

Cormier could entertain as a loving babyface with his back against the will, ala babyface Angle or Kofi in his current run (Honorary Pancake flipper?) or could go full certified douche in his quest to usurp Brock as the biggest crossover star. If we can't get Brock vs DC in the octagon, which is a damn shame and Dana and Brock should be held accountable for getting our little hopes up, an eventual clash in the ring will do just fine as a consolation.

Like I said, this isn't a maybe, it's a when but in the interim Cormier needs to get past Miocic one more time to solidify that UFC legacy, then wipe the grin off that smug doper Jon Jones. Exciting times for the former Olympian.
