10 UFC Stars Who Got Too Cocky

It's been well documented in previous articles just how much Josh Koscheck enjoys talking sh*t to and about his opponents, while also never missing a chance to put himself on a pedestal.

Often being cited as MMA's ultimate a**hole, Koscheck's one-sided trash talking has seen some unbelievable exchanges come to pass. From his OTT boasting as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter - in the face of Georges St-Pierre - to his downright racist comments on Matt Hughes having 'no speed or athletic ability because he's white', Koscheck has never shied away from being the brashest voice in the room.

He backtracked on the latter comments with a limp 'how can I be racist to white people when I am half-white' argument, and sadly didn't get his comeuppance when he was faced with Hughes a few years later.

GSP on the other hand, did teach Koscheck a lesson and rearranged his face for good measure at UFC 124.

The 10-year UFC employee would never truly change his ways, but at least some of his cocky actions had substantial consequences in the Octagon.
