From one division's standard bearer to another and a fighter who many believe to be the top Heavyweight ever to don the fingerless gloves inside a cage.

That man is Stipe Miocic.

The two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion has marauded around the Octagon for eight years now and has shown few signs of faltering - amassing a magnificent 18-3 record in MMA.

Oh and that's without mentioning his NCAA Division I wrestling background or the fact that he is a former Golden Gloves boxing champion.

Miocic's UFC run looks even more astonishing when you dissect the sheer calibre of athletes he has had the difficult task of toppling over the years.

Any man who possesses the capabilities to brutalise Roy Nelson, Gabriel Gonzaga, Mark Hunt, Andrei Arlovski, Fabricio Werdum, Alistair Overeem, Francis Ngannou and Daniel Cormier, deserves his own wing in the UFC Hall of Fame.

The current record holder for the most successful UFC Heavyweight title defences doesn't seem to be losing any of his vicious knockout power with age, yet he could retire happy tomorrow knowing that he has bullied a division littered with legendary giants.
