10 UFC Stars Who Have Destroyed The Most Legends
4. Alistair Overeem
Whilst we're already in a Heavyweight state of mind, another colossal force of the division has also had his name enhanced by the level of legend he has taken out over the years and The Demolition Man is still going strong today.
Alistair Overeem made his name in PRIDE at the start of the millennium, scoring victories over Vitor Belfort and Igor Vovchanchyn. He then went on to power his way through Strikeforce and DREAM, adding wins over Mark Hunt and Fabricio Werdum to his résumé.
Yet it was his official debut for UFC that grabbed all the headlines.
After staying clear of the company for years, Overeem announced himself in a truly epic showcase and - in the process - conquered Dana White's prize attraction, Brock Lesnar.
He followed that up with winning displays against Frank Mir, Roy Nelson and Andrei Arlovski - before knocking off Hunt and Werdum again, too.
His career has been far from perfect, but there's still very few fighters who have nullified as many marquee names - in multiple promotions - as Overeem has.
He's currently 60+ fights into his career and is still being lined up for a potential Stipe Miocic rematch in the future... could he add one more name to that legend-besting list?
