10 Ultra-Rare WWE Championship Matches You've Definitely Never Seen

4. Legion Of Doom (c) Vs Money Inc (February 7th, 1992)

To untangle exactly what happened in Denver, Coarado on February 7th 1992, one has to imagine an entirely different WWE from the way it looks today.

Tag Team Champions the Legion Of Doom were staring down the barrel of a temporary suspension that almost severed ties between the two sides completely, but were so determined to preserve their characters that they refused to lose the titles with cameras present.

People pushing back against Vince McMahon's whims? People caring about titles? People caring how their characters might look?!

It was a different time.

Anyway, after Earthquake and Typhoon had battered-but-not-beaten Hawk and Animal at the Royal Rumble weeks earlier, the newly-formed Money Inc were airlifted in to replace them as LOD opponents in order for the Natural Disasters to be hastily turned babyface. On the night, it took interference from Typhoon, Jimmy Hart and Sensational Sherri to see through the switch. On television, the company came up with a tale that 'The Mouth Of The South' had sold out the Disasters for Dibaise's money.

That's if it even happened at all. The belts changed hands, but to this day the match itself still hasn't been broadcast.
