10 Underused WWE Superstars (And How They Should Be Booked)
4. Murphy
Murphy has proven himself as a talented wrestler who can wow the audience with his moves inside the squared circle. Unfortunately, he has always played second fiddle to Seth Rollins on the TV. He ate a Claymore kick for his master this week on the red brand. Since 'The Monday Night Messiah' will likely fail to dethrone Drew McIntyre as the WWE Champion next Sunday, the creative team should not extend that rivalry, and instead, give the pair a new direction.
A switch to NXT could be game-changing for Rollins and Murphy, as both the wrestlers had achieved a lot of success in the Black and Gold brand. Also, the former Shield member has mentioned that his goal is to save the Vince McMahon-owned company and the universe for the greater good.
Since the tertiary brand of the company is facing competition from AEW Dynamite right now, the creative team could pull this move off. They recently shifted Charlotte there and, Rollins and Murphy could light up the tag team division on Wednesday nights.
