'Mil Máscaras won't do jobs for any of those sorry sons of bitches in your match' probs isn't how the Mexican legend put things during WWF talks, but it's damn close. Bruce Prichard once said that Mil scoffed when officials told him he'd have to be thrown over the top rope at the 1997 Royal Rumble.

No pins, no submissions, no over-the-top eliminations - no jobs!

Máscaras wouldn't let somebody grab him and toss him out of the Rumble. So, rather hilariously, the masked man eliminated himself by performing a crossbody from the top turnbuckle to the outside for no real reason at all. That's when WWF refs stopped him from getting back inside the ring for more Rumble action.

This is the only way Mil would do business. He couldn't fathom why anybody would want to beat him on TV, and he definitely wasn't going to let it happen on his watch. It didn't matter to Máscaras that he was only making a one-off appearance.
