10 Unusual Demands Wrestlers Made To Other Wrestlers

Rhea Ripley sure asks for some bizarre things from her co-workers...

In case you weren't aware already, wrestlers aren't half an odd breed of human.

On top of largely committing themselves to a frankly insane work schedule in most cases, these men and women willingly put their bodies on the line for the sake of glorious entertainment, happily taking an inanimate object to the skull or sending their frames through tables on a weekly basis.

The strangeness most definitely does not end there, though. Not by a long shot.

In fact, over the years, it's not been uncommon for those bumping for their paycheques to make what can only be described as some pretty darn peculiar requests to their in-ring colleagues in the lead-up to or even during a contest together. While the average employee has been known to ask their co-worker to pop their lunch in the microwave on occasion, those opting for the life of a pro wrestler are far more likely to demand a workmate to really beat the ever loving piss out of them in front a live audience.

From inviting a fellow wrassler to shed some blood in the squared circle, to ordering an Olympic gold medalist to slam them like they mean it, these are those times wrestlers maybe asked a little bit too much of their comrades.

10. Riddle Asks Randy Orton To Help Him Apologise To The Tribal Chief

Forming one of the most unlikeliest of bromances in modern times, Riddle and Randy Orton's on-screen chemistry appears to very much be rooted in some real-life affection between the two.

After initially getting off to a bit of a rocky start backstage, The Viper and Original Bro became two stoned peas in a pod. And with Riddle being something of a relative newcomer on the main roster upon linking up with The Apex Predator, it only made sense for the one-time NXT star to go to the veteran worker for some assistance on the back of pissing off a certain Tribal Chief during a promo.

As Riddle would explain on the My Love Letter To Wrestling podcast, the former Raw Tag Team Champion asked his fellow one-time tag champ to look over his written apology to Roman Reigns. To which Orton responded by telling his partner, "nah, this is all wrong. This is what you write."

Riddle continued:

"And then he sent me an apology back where there was no apology at all... But he knows this Chief better than I do, so I was like, 'okay.' I sent this apology, and let's just say he did not accept it."

You'd think the combustible long-time WWE man would've mastered the art of apologising for his mistakes by now, eh...
