10 Unusual Ways To Lose Your Job With WWE

Don't step on anyone's toes... or cause explosive decompression. Or smile. Seriously, don't smile.

Competing for World Wrestling Entertainment is a career goal for most of the wrestlers in the world and a tantalizing fantasy for millions of fans. A lucky few, with talent and hard work, manage to make their way to the grandest stage in the industry.

Unfortunately, it doesn't always end well. WWE has a strange internal hierarchy that, at times, resembles a frat house, a high school locker room, or even a prison. New talent is forced to walk on eggshells so that they don't draw the ire of more tenured wrestlers. Vince McMahon is even more mercurial - he's easily irritated, his whims become edict, and since he's the boss, he's never wrong.

Many promising careers have been cut short by rubbing him or someone else with power the wrong way. That's not to say that everybody who gets the boot from WWE is being wronged, though. Some superstars - the ones who aren't victims of circumstance or a creative team that "has nothing for them" - are sometimes fired because they do absolutely insane things.

Sometimes, the company has to wash its hands - or protect itself. Here are ten wrestlers who were fired from WWE for unusual reasons. Some were at fault and some weren't, but all of them left in memorable fashion.
