10 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Feb 19)

7. Breaking B*tches

Nyla Rose Tony Schiavone
AEW

Nyla Rose has passed every major in-ring test with flying colours since Dynamite. Last night she was given a live microphone to prove she knew how to get the job done in the promo department as well, and she delivered.

"Do you know what happens when I get hungry?" she asked. "I break b*tches."

This was her response to the months spent on the sidelines while others took him bigger paycheques and occupied her billboard space. Rose said she had broken Riho, and while Tony Schiavone tried to put the former AEW Women's World Champion's courage over, Nyla scoffed at this. Courage, she, asserted, had gotten Riho nowhere, and she represented unbridled power.

Promising to be a one-time champion because nobody can beat her, Rose came off well as she bellowed her words down the microphone. Her bellicose delivery was on point, and summoned Kris Statlander and Big Swole from the back. Both are on winning runs and could make sense as contenders, though they may contest a singles clash to determine Nyla's pay-per-view opponent. Our money's on Kris.
