10 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Apr 8)

2. The Elite Deletion

Matt Hardy
AEW

If you don't like Matt Hardy stuff, you won't have gotten much out of this week's promo. Nonetheless, this was a fun, functional bridge to what really matters here: The Elite Deletion.

Hardy has challenged Chris Jericho to join him for one of his signature blowouts at the Hardy Compound. There's no word on when it'll go down as Jericho didn't answer Matt on commentary, but this is definitely something to look forward to if you're into Hardy's brand of mayhem. The man's unbridled creativity is about to be unleashed all over AEW. After years of stifled output, he can let loose once more, and there's little doubt that a mind as sharp as Jericho's will be able to help him take it to another level.

The segment itself was good. Hardy ran through each Inner Circle member one by one as he responded to "that Hole of the A*s, Chris Jericho," before Vanguard 1 showed up with his new t-shirt design, having reduced his Inner Circle one to a literal dumpster fire. He's great when he isn't teleporting, you know.
