10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jun 30)

1. Waste Of Talent

Tommy Dreamer is absolutely past his prime from an in-ring perspective, although he can still go depending on the situation. However, his promo abilities certainly haven't dropped in any way. 'The Innovator of Violence' cut one hell of a scathing promo towards Moose.

After being booted in the side of the head by the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, drawing some blood from the hardcore icon, Dreamer took to the mic with perhaps one of the greatest talking segments of the year thus far. Stating that Moose never had dreams to participate in either the NFL or professional wrestling but rather because he wanted to find a paycheck for his outstanding abilities, Tommy was quick to say that Moose was the only member of the locker room to complain about Impact Wrestling when the world went into its current situation.

Dreamer's closing words left a lasting impression, claiming that 'Mr Impact Wrestling' will be nothing more than a footnote in both the American football and pro wrestling industries. His reasons? Because Moose is nothing more than a waste of talent.

This was absolutely wonderful. These columns have always been fairly critical of the older guys coming in and taking time away from the younger stars, however, when you see something like this, then it's impossible to make it anything other than an Up.

The match (assuming they have one) might not be all that, but we'll always have this promo to remind us how amazing Dreamer actually is.
