It's become a common occurrence for Johnny Swinger to interfere in matches, something we saw on this very episode as 'The Swing Man' assisted Chris Bey in his bout against Suicide, which led 'The Ultimate Finesser' to pick up the three count. In typical Swinger fashion, he gloated about his plan to Bey backstage, something that referee Brandon Tolle didn't take too kindly to.

Just as Swinger was laying down his plan to pay off the referee at Slammiversary, Tolle approached The Finesse and Bench Press Express, informing Swinger that he would be talking to Impact management to ensure 'The Swing Man' would be barred from ringside during the 18 July X Division Championship match. Will this prevent Swinger from at least attempting to get involved in the bout? Absolutely not.

A minor Up, however, it's something that will only benefit both Chris Bey and Willie Mack in that match. Expect nothing short of a fast-paced contest, regardless of any involvement from former WCW and ECW stars.
