10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jun 30)

1. We Need Championships

Impact Wrestling are really dropping the ball by not reinstating the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.

It's a fact that has been picked up on throughout these columns in the past, with newly-formed teams such as Havok and Nevaeh, and Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz. This week marked yet another team uniting under the Impact banner, as Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie officially formed a tandem on the latest installment of Locker Room Talk.

Having doubles titles for the knockouts division once again would only be a great thing. When the titles were initially active from 2009-2013, the straps were treated as a joke. Case in point, the final and longest-reigning champions were ODB and Eric Young, with the titles becoming largely forgotten about during this final reign before being deactivated because of Young's status as a male. Did it really take them that long to figure out? He was champion for 478 days.

Now is a perfect time to get the titles brought back in.
