10 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Sept 25)

1. Imperium Leather

A great six-man tag team match closed out this week's NXT, and though it lacked a major, major angle (like everything else on this show), it was fundamentally fantastic and at times just as entertaining.

Imperium's chemistry is sublime - a unity between the ropes as polished as their perfect pre-match presentation, and the added ingredient of a red hot and revived Breezango act on the other side gave this topliner some much-needed diversity.

For all of their tightness as a team, they had to come undone and lose to ensure Walter’s surprise post-match beatdown connected effectively. Kushida getting the win ahead of what’ll likely be a TakeOver clash or important ratings-decider against the United Kingdom Champion was as good an ending to the show as the current crew were capable of, but felt auspiciously ordinary with such an enormous ocasion a mere seven days away.
