Hard to know exactly where to place this, but this article assesses the show as a viewing experience first and foremost, so the lack of any angles this week is a Down, regardless of WWE's expert planning to allow for such a situation.

By bullying their way onto USA Network two weeks earlier than AEW Dynamite, they’ve made space for building stars rather than creating talking points.

NXT hasn't played a single big card yet, instead opting to set up some new characters and a big episode next week instead.

Drab to watch at points but brilliantly strategic from a Wednesday Night War perspective, the show has to seamlessly be something that can do both from next week onwards.
