10 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2021

3. Clunky Under Time Constraints

By the time the Digital Media Title clash began, Countdown To Glory had less than ten minutes left before the main portion of the card began; after the entrances, the match only got five minutes in total in-ring time. It struggled to flourish under what felt like serious time constraints, perhaps due to Awesome Kong's Hall of Fame induction going over its allotted time.

There were a lot of moving parts, making it difficult for any one moment to really impress. John Skyler was disposed of immediately, having taken centre stage in a bid to get himself over, but this failed to work in any way. He later bounced back with a neat top-rope Finlay Roll, but again, it didn't get the correct amount of time to click. This applies to Chelsea Green's Curb Stomp, Crazzy Steve's Upside Down spot, and Jordynne Grace's (impressive in any other situation) cross-legged Muscle Buster.

Grace would ultimately lift the title, pinning Skyler via Grace Driver to become the inaugural Digital Media Champion. Now what? This title needs some serious work done to improve its validity as a desired championship. For now, it's all but a meaningless prop.
