10 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 4)
7. Throwing Down
Ahead of their highly-anticipated bout at Bound For Glory, Moose and Ken Shamrock were part of a press conference this week, an opportunity that they both took to make a joke out of the other. Moose, the self-proclaimed 'Mr Impact', backed up his claims that MMA is for barbarians, whereas the 'World's Most Dangerous Man' stated that Moose blew his career in the NFL.
A brief brawl between the two ensued following a photo opportunity, and rightfully so - we haven't seen any physicality between them until this short exchange, and that's the way it should go until 20 October. If we don't see them brawling, then a) we won't have a clue what to expect when the two lock horns for the first time, and b) it makes people want to tune in to see two men of this calibre going at it.
In addition, Moose also brought in Frank Trigg to be by his side. Bonus brownie points for anyone who remembers his original stint with Impact back in 2008 against AJ Styles.
