Put aside the result of the SmackDown Women’s Championship match. It’s already been covered.

Now, let’s give some huge props to Charlotte Flair and Asuka for delivering an absolutely incredible match, easily the best women’s match in WrestleMania history. The two battered each other with chops, strikes and various hard-hitting moves. Asuka countered Charlotte’s moonsault and Natural Selection, while Flair managed to escape the Empress’ various submission holds.

They never took their feet off the gas and produced a match that both should be extremely proud of. After following an energetic Intercontinental Championship match, you had to wonder if they could top it. Your mileage may vary, but they definitely were up for the challenge.
