7. Unhinged, But Not Forgotten
It would be very easy to list this as a down for the first six months of the year if not for the last two months. Heading into 2015, Dean Ambrose had gone from a surprise ultra-hot face to a guy jobbing to holograms and exploding TVs and looking fairly lost in the midcard. But WWE seemingly realized that Ambrose regularly gets one of the biggest explosions from the crowd when he comes out and that Roman Reigns needed to draw some good vibes from his lone BFF on the roster so the Lunatic Fringe found himself thrust to the top of the card in a two-month feud with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EEq1ukyCFA And while Ambrose failed to capture the title and has since seen his push throttled down, the fact that WWE realized that Ambrose is capable and that fans reacted positively to it has to bode well provided WWE brass was paying attention. Therein lies the challenge. Still, Ambrose getting a couple PPV main events was a welcome sight. Lets hope it translates into an honest storyline and push sometime soon rather than being just another guy. Call this cautiously optimistic.
